📜 GOODS CONSIGNMENT NOTE (GCN) – TERMS & CONDITIONS
(Applicable to all consignments booked with Packers and Movers Experts / सभी बुकिंग पर लागू)
1️⃣ Carriage at Owner’s Risk / मालिक के जोखिम पर ढुलाई
English: Goods are carried strictly at the Owner’s Risk. The Company is not aware of the exact nature, contents, or value of consignments unless declared by the consignor.
हिंदी: सामान पूरी तरह से मालिक के जोखिम (Owner’s Risk) पर ढोया जाएगा। कंपनी सामान के स्वरूप, सामग्री या मूल्य की जिम्मेदारी नहीं लेती जब तक कि प्रेषक द्वारा घोषित न किया गया हो।
2️⃣ Delivery & Time / डिलीवरी एवं समय
English: The Company does not guarantee delivery within a fixed time. No liability shall arise for delays caused by traffic, weather, strikes, government restrictions, accidents, or reasons beyond the Company’s control.
हिंदी: कंपनी किसी निश्चित समय में डिलीवरी की गारंटी नहीं देती। ट्रैफिक, मौसम, हड़ताल, सरकारी प्रतिबंध, दुर्घटना या अन्य कारणों से होने वाली देरी पर कंपनी जिम्मेदार नहीं होगी।
3️⃣ Route & Mode of Transport / मार्ग एवं परिवहन
English: In case of route interruption, the Company may forward goods via another available route or vehicle. The same terms shall apply.
हिंदी: यदि बुक किया गया मार्ग बाधित हो, तो कंपनी किसी अन्य उपलब्ध मार्ग या वाहन से माल भेज सकती है। वही नियम लागू रहेंगे।
4️⃣ Exclusion of Liability / जिम्मेदारी से मुक्ति
English: The Company shall not be liable for loss or damage due to theft, pilferage, leakage, breakage, natural deterioration (rain, heat, humidity, etc.), strikes, riots, fire, explosion, accidents, or seizure by authorities.
हिंदी: निम्न कारणों से होने वाले नुकसान/हानि के लिए कंपनी जिम्मेदार नहीं होगी – चोरी, गुमशुदगी, रिसाव, टूट-फूट, प्राकृतिक हानि (बारिश, गर्मी, नमी आदि), हड़ताल, दंगा, आग, विस्फोट, दुर्घटना, या सरकारी अधिकारियों द्वारा जब्ती।
5️⃣ Storage & Demurrage / भंडारण एवं डेमरेज
English: Goods must be collected within 7 days of arrival. Charges: ₹3 per quintal per day. Perishable goods may be disposed of after 48 hours; other goods after 30 days.
हिंदी: सामान आगमन के 7 दिनों में ले जाना अनिवार्य है। शुल्क: ₹3 प्रति क्विंटल प्रति दिन। नाशवान सामान 48 घंटे के बाद और अन्य सामान 30 दिन बाद कंपनी द्वारा बेचा जा सकता है।
6️⃣ Condition of Delivery / डिलीवरी की शर्त
English: Delivery will be made only upon surrender of the original Lorry Receipt (LR) duly discharged or against written authorization from the concerned bank.
हिंदी: डिलीवरी केवल मूल लॉरी रिसीट (LR) प्रस्तुत करने पर या संबंधित बैंक की लिखित अनुमति पर ही की जाएगी।
7️⃣ Freight Adjustment / भाड़ा समायोजन
English: The Company may re-weigh or re-measure goods at the destination and recover any undercharges before delivery.
हिंदी: कंपनी गंतव्य पर सामान का पुनः वजन/माप कर सकती है और कोई भी अधूरा भाड़ा वसूल सकती है।
8️⃣ Right to Refuse Goods / सामान लेने से इंकार
English: The Company may refuse to accept or transport goods without assigning reasons.
हिंदी: कंपनी बिना कारण बताए सामान ढोने से इंकार कर सकती है।
9️⃣ Entrustment to Other Carriers / अन्य वाहकों को सौंपना
English: The Company may entrust goods to another carrier as its agent. The Company remains responsible for due delivery.
हिंदी: कंपनी माल को किसी अन्य वाहक को सौंप सकती है। ऐसे में वह वाहक कंपनी का एजेंट माना जाएगा। कंपनी अंतिम डिलीवरी की जिम्मेदार रहेगी।
🔟 Local Shifting Boxes / लोकल शिफ्टिंग बॉक्स
English: Boxes provided by the Company must be returned. If retained, ₹100 per box will be charged.
हिंदी: कंपनी द्वारा दिए गए बॉक्स वापस करना अनिवार्य है। यदि ग्राहक अपने पास रखता है तो ₹100 प्रति बॉक्स शुल्क लगेगा।
1️⃣1️⃣ Payment of Charges / शुल्क का भुगतान
English: The consignor is primarily liable for freight and incidental charges.
हिंदी: प्रेषक भाड़ा और अन्य सभी खर्चों के लिए प्राथमिक रूप से जिम्मेदार रहेगा।
1️⃣2️⃣ Claims & Legal Actions / दावे एवं कानूनी कार्यवाही
English:
- Claims must be made in writing within 30 days of booking or delivery.
- No enquiry will be entertained after 30 days.
- No legal action is valid unless a claim has been lodged.
हिंदी:
- दावा लिखित रूप में 30 दिनों के भीतर करना अनिवार्य है।
- 30 दिन बाद कोई पूछताछ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी।
- बिना दावा दर्ज किए कोई कानूनी कार्यवाही मान्य नहीं होगी।
1️⃣3️⃣ Prohibited Goods / प्रतिबंधित सामान
English: Illegal, contraband, or hazardous goods are not allowed. The consignor is solely responsible if booked.
हिंदी: गैर-कानूनी, अवैध या खतरनाक सामान की बुकिंग सख्त वर्जित है। इसकी जिम्मेदारी केवल प्रेषक की होगी।
1️⃣4️⃣ Jurisdiction / क्षेत्राधिकार
English: All disputes shall be subject to Pune courts only.
हिंदी: सभी विवादों का निपटारा केवल पुणे न्यायालय में होगा।
📌 Schedule of Storage & Demurrage Charges / भंडारण एवं डेमरेज शुल्क
English:
- Storage/Demurrage: ₹3 per quintal per day.
- Detention charges for lorry: ₹800 per day.
- Door Delivery: Only against surrender of the Consignee Copy of LR; otherwise delivery from Company godown.
हिंदी:
- भंडारण/डेमरेज: ₹3 प्रति क्विंटल प्रति दिन।
- लॉरी रोके रखने का शुल्क: ₹800 प्रति दिन।
- घर तक डिलीवरी: केवल Consignee Copy of LR देने पर; अन्यथा कंपनी के गोदाम से सामान लेना होगा।
✅ Final Acknowledgment / अंतिम स्वीकृति
English:
By paying the booking token and handing over goods, the customer confirms having read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions. All goods are at Owner’s Risk unless risk coverage is taken in writing. No further claims or liabilities against Packers and Movers Experts (PAME) will arise.
हिन्दी:
बुकिंग टोकन का भुगतान और सामान सौंपने पर ग्राहक यह स्वीकार करता है कि उसने इन नियम एवं शर्तों को पढ़ा, समझा और स्वीकार किया है। सभी सामान Owner’s Risk पर बुक किए गए हैं, जब तक रिस्क कवरेज लिखित रूप से नहीं लिया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त Packers and Movers Experts (PAME) पर कोई दावा या जिम्मेदारी नहीं होगी।
